Schedule and Complementary Events
Last year, CANet successfully partnered with the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society to hold a joint event. The events pair well, but recognizing that it is difficult for attendees to take 4-5 days away from their practices and daily lives, both groups are maximizing your time by compressing this year's programs into a three day event.
Wednesday, September 14 - CANet HQP Trainee Day - restricted to CHAT members only
Thursday, September 15 - CANet ASC
Friday, September 16 - MORNING - CANet ASC
Friday, September 16 - AFTERNOON - CHRS Annual Meeting
Saturday, September 17 - CHRS Annual Meeting
CANet has complementary events planned in conjunction with the Scientific Conference:
The Trainee Day (Wednesday, September 14) is an opportunity for CANet's CHAT members to come together, learn from CANet Network Investigators, and discuss mentorship and educational opportunities. Click here for more details and requirements for attending the Trainee Day.
The Public Forum (Wednesday, September 14) is a new initiative this year. One of CANet's goals is to empower patients to manage their own health, and to help caregivers improve patient care at the bedside and in the community. The Forum will give people living with arrhythmia the chance to learn about CANet's work in the fields of atrial fibrillation, sudden cardiac death and syncope, and to engage with Network members.
