Catheter Contact-Force Control Device: Bringing Technology to Market

Daniel’s group is developing promising technology that allows the delivery of safe, reproducible and controlled lesion delivery during cardiac ablation therapy. Our technology was tested extensively on a lab-bench and in animal. But how do we get our technology to the hands of the cardiac interventionalist to be used on patients? What steps are required to transfer technology and bring it to the market?

In this webinar, Daniel discusses the technology and the path to commercialization and he will:

  • unravel the black-box of challenges of starting a company and trying to introduce a product to the medical device market;
  • briefly go over our journey of R&D, product development, intellectual property, preparing and acquiring funds, using available resources, and finding the right people to help you along the way;
  • go over downfalls as well as highlight suggestions that may help you in your path to commercialization.
